GR12 Titanium Alloy Wire (TA10/Ti-0.3Mo-0.8Ni)
The α - type corrosion-resistant titanium alloy GR12 (corresponding to China TA10) material is designed for strong corrosive environments and precision manufacturing, suitable for fields such as chemical equipment, marine engineering, and electrolysis industry, meeting the requirements of crack corrosion resistance and high temperature stability.
Core advantages
- Breakthrough in Corrosion Resistance:The alloying design containing 0.3% Mo and 0.8% Ni has an annual corrosion rate of less than 0.02mm in hydrochloric acid, chloride, and weak reducing acids. Its resistance to crevice corrosion is superior to pure titanium and close to TA9 (Ti-0.2Pd) alloy. The surface has been acid washed or polished, suitable for harsh scenarios such as seawater desalination equipment and electrolytic cell anode mesh.
- Mechanical performance balance:Annealing tensile strength ≥ 485MPa, yield strength ≥ 345MPa, elongation ≥ 18%, possessing both rigidity and toughness. Through vacuum melting and cold drawing process, it has excellent fatigue resistance and is suitable for complex load scenarios such as pressure resistant shells of deep-sea detectors.
- Process adaptability:Diameter ranging from 0.1 to 8.0mm, supporting customization of coiled wire (5-20kg) or straight wire (500-1000mm). Welding requires high-purity argon gas (≥ 99.99%) protection, with a weld strength of over 90% of the base metal, suitable for TIG/MIG welding and precision weaving. The surface can be customized with acid wash or mirror polishing to meet different interface adhesion requirements.
