The alpha+beta titanium alloy GR5 (corresponding to China TC4) material has high strength, corrosion resistance, and lightweight, suitable for aerospace, medical implantation, marine engineering, and 3D printing fields, meeting the stringent performance requirements in extreme environments.

Core advantages

  • High strength and lightweight balance:The alloy design of aluminum (5.5-6.75%) and vanadium (3.5-4.5%) with titanium content ≥ 90% endows it with excellent specific strength. Annealing tensile strength ≥ 895MPa, elongation ≥ 10%; After solid solution treatment, the strength can reach 1100MPa while maintaining good toughness, with a density of only 4.51g/cm ³, which is 40% lighter than steel.
  • Corrosion resistance:In media such as seawater and nitric acid, the annual corrosion rate is less than 0.02mm, and the resistance to Cl ⁻ corrosion is better than 316L stainless steel.
  • Process adaptability:Diameter ranging from 0.08mm to 8.0mm, supporting customization of coiled wire (5-20kg) or straight wire (500-1000mm). High purity argon gas (≥ 99.99%) protection is required during welding, with a weld strength of over 90% of the base metal, suitable for TIG/MIG welding and precision weaving. The surface can be customized with acid wash or mirror polishing.
