GR5 Titanium Welding Wire (TC4/Ti-6Al-4V)
This product is made of α+β titanium alloy GR5 (corresponding to China TC4) material, designed specifically for high-strength welding and complex environments. It is suitable for aerospace structural components, medical implants, marine engineering, and 3D printing repair fields, meeting the reliability requirements of welds under extreme working conditions.
Core advantages
- High strength and welding adaptability:The alloy design of aluminum (5.5-6.75%) and vanadium (3.5-4.5%) with titanium content ≥ 90% endows it with excellent specific strength. The tensile strength of the welding wire is ≥ 895MPa, and the weld strength reaches over 90% of the base material. After welding, annealing (550-650 ℃) can eliminate residual stress and improve fatigue resistance. Suitable for TIG/MIG welding.
- Process flexibility:Diameter ranging from 0.08mm to 8.0mm, supporting customization of coiled wire (5-20kg) or straight wire (500-1000mm). The surface can be customized with acid wash or mirror polishing to meet different interface adhesion requirements. The combination of cold drawing process and annealing treatment refines the grain size to ASTM grade 8 or above, improving the welding forming accuracy.
