GR1 Titanium Plates for Chemical Industry

• Outstanding corrosion resistance:Excellent performance in nitric acid, alkaline solutions, and seawater, with a dense oxide film (TiO ₂) on the surface that can resist chloride ion corrosion. For example, the corrosion rate is less than 0.001mm/a in a 3.5% NaCl solution, and less than 0.1mm/a in nitric acid at room temperature with concentrations below 50%. However, caution should be exercised when using sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid at high temperatures and concentrations, with a recommended concentration of ≤ 5% and a temperature of ≤ 50 ℃.
• Mechanical performance balance:The annealed tensile strength is ≥ 343MPa, the yield strength is ≥ 275MPa, the elongation is ≥ 25%, the density is only 4.51g/cm ³, and the specific strength is 1.8 times that of 316L stainless steel. It can meet the structural strength requirements of equipment while being lightweight.
• Strong process adaptability:Supports cold rolling, hot rolling, and welding processing, with a welding joint strength of up to 90% of the base metal. The surface is treated with acid washing (Ra ≤ 3.2 μ m) or glossy finish, and can be customized with a thickness of 0.8-50mm and a width of ≤ 2000mm.

• Chlor alkali industry: Wet chlorine coolers, anode liquid pipelines for ion membrane electrolyzers, with stable corrosion resistance in chlorine containing media.
• Soda production: crystallization external cooler, ammonium chloride mother liquor heater, resistant to ammonium salt water and high-temperature alkaline environment.
• Nitric acid manufacturing: evaporators and exhaust preheaters have a corrosion resistance life more than 5 times that of stainless steel in 40% -80% concentration nitric acid.
