It is mainly made of industrial pure titanium (Grade 2/GR2), providing comprehensive anti-corrosion and fatigue resistant structural support for fields such as chemical engineering, marine engineering, oil and gas, and energy. It runs through the entire life cycle of equipment, not only significantly reducing equipment maintenance costs, but also effectively extending its service life.
Excellent corrosion resistance, building a sturdy defense line
The reason why titanium can perform well in extreme environments is due to a dense oxide film (TiO ₂) on its surface, which acts as a self-protection armor. It can remain stable under the erosion of strong acids, strong bases, salt spray, and even high-temperature halogen media. Its resistance to pitting corrosion, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion is 5-8 times stronger than 316L stainless steel, and it leaves aluminum alloy far behind.
In order to further enhance the corrosion resistance of profiles in extreme environments, researchers have optimized their grain structure and strictly controlled the impurity content. For example, controlling the oxygen content to ≤ 0.25% and the iron content to ≤ 0.3%. After such fine processing, even in acidic environments of oil and gas fields containing H ₂ S and CO ₂, as well as seawater immersion zones with chloride ion concentrations ≥ 3.5%, this profile can achieve zero intergranular corrosion, providing a solid and reliable guarantee for the stable operation of equipment in extreme environments.
