Its resistance to pitting corrosion, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion is 5-8 times stronger than 316L stainless steel, and it leaves aluminum alloy far behind.

In order to further enhance the corrosion resistance of profiles in extreme environments, researchers have optimized their grain structure and strictly controlled the impurity content. For example, controlling the oxygen content to ≤ 0.25% and the iron content to ≤ 0.3%. After such fine processing, even in acidic environments of oil and gas fields containing H ₂ S and CO ₂, as well as seawater immersion zones with chloride ion concentrations ≥ 3.5%, this profile can achieve zero intergranular corrosion, providing a solid and reliable guarantee for the stable operation of equipment in extreme environments.
