GR2 titanium rod
This product is made of industrial pure titanium GR2 material with a purity of ≥ 99.5%. It has excellent processing performance and comprehensive mechanical properties, and is suitable for precision component manufacturing in chemical, food and pharmaceutical, aerospace, and extreme environments.
Core advantages
- Excellent corrosion resistance: It exhibits better pitting and stress corrosion resistance than 316L stainless steel in acid, alkali, salt, and chlorine containing media. For example, in 37% concentrated hydrochloric acid (70 ℃), the corrosion rate of GR2 titanium rod is less than 0.01mm/a, which is one of the strongest corrosion resistance levels in titanium alloys. The surface dense oxide film (TiO ₂) can resist biofouling and reduce maintenance costs.
- Mechanical performance adaptation: Tensile strength ≥ 240MPa, yield strength ≥ 170MPa, elongation ≥ 24%, maintaining good plasticity while meeting lightweight requirements, capable of withstanding mechanical stress and alternating loads under complex working conditions.
- Mature processing technology: supports forming methods such as hot forging, hot rolling, cold drawing, etc. The surface is polished/polished (Ra ≤ 1.6 μ m), and can be customized with specifications of φ 6-350mm × ≤ 3000mm, suitable for high-precision equipment requirements.
